Beginner League at Pickleball Heaven

Join us for our next social league in Medford at Pickleball Heaven

The first league of its kind. If you’re an experienced player who has someone that wants to get into the game but wants to play with you, No problem. We have a league that works for all players levels on the same team and will keep all teams competitive. This league will work off of a handicap scoring system to keep all teams competitive; teams will have to consist of at least 50% beginner players; 4 players max per team.

Beginner League Rules

Teams

• Teams may consist of 2 to 4 players and they must play at least 2 weeks to qualify for the final tournament of the season.
• Teams can consist of advanced and beginner players but must be at least a 50/50 split. You can’t have more advanced players than beginners.
• This league will have handicap-based scoring to keep all games competitive and enjoyable for all players. This will allow players that want to get into playing and want to join with someone that already plays. This system also benefits teams that consist of all beginner players.
• For our Beginners, don’t have bags? No problem, we will have bags available for you to use, and bags will also be available to purchase.
• Price is $175 per team due upon sign up, if registering on Scoreholio we will reach out for payment.
• Each player on the team will receive a T-Shirt with entry.

Play

• Each of the first 6 weeks, all teams will play 5 games that will go towards their league standings.
• At the end of the 5 games each week (only weeks 1-6), we will take the top 6 teams and put them into a quick Single Elimination tournament for a weekly team Cash Prize.
• Week 7 will be a round robin play in to a Single Elimination tournament for the league Championship.
• Prizes will be given out to the top 3 finishers in the week 7 tournament.

Extras

• Each week we will also have an 8 Bag challenge, that everyone on all teams will participate in. Each player will throw 8 different numbered bags at the airmail box, and we will record the total number of points from the bags in the box. We will keep a team running tally for the season, for cash prizes at the end of the season.
• Money Board will also be available to participants that choose to play each week. This is an optional event that will be run each week.

This is a social league meant to bring players together in a great environment to have fun and laugh.

(All prizes will be based on the amount of team entries into the league, the more teams the better the prizes. And no, we will not be giving Hats, Water bottles, or Towels for top prizes here).

So come out and play in this amazing venue, that includes a Bar, Restaurant and many TV’s including the biggest TV screen on Long Island. Drink and food specials offered to our players weekly.

• When: Weekly starting Thursday March 5th @ 7:30pm
• Duration: 7 Weeks, six weeks of round robin play, followed by playoffs in the final week.
• Cost: $175 per team. T-shirts will be provided to team with early registration. Late registration will have to wait for their shirts.
